Complex care at home, led by registered nurses

Some health needs call for more than a support worker. Every participant with complex needs has a care plan overseen by a registered nurse, and support workers trained and checked in the exact supports they deliver.

Supports we provide

Skilled, safe support for complex health needs

PEG and enteral feeding

Safe feeding, tube care and monitoring, following the treating team's plan.

Catheter and bowel care

Urinary catheter care, bowel management programs and continence support.

Wound care

Dressing changes and monitoring under nursing oversight.

Epilepsy and seizure management

Following individual seizure management plans, including emergency medication where prescribed.

Diabetes management

Monitoring, insulin support and recognising warning signs.

Tracheostomy care

Suctioning, stoma care and emergency procedures.

How we keep care safe

  • A registered nurse assesses every participant before supports begin.
  • Support workers are trained and competency-checked for each high-intensity support.
  • Care plans are reviewed regularly and whenever needs change.
  • We communicate clearly with GPs, specialists, coordinators and families.

Coming home from hospital?

We work with discharge teams so supports are ready the day you get home. Contact us as early as possible and our nurse will plan ahead with you.

Complex care questions

Can you support someone with a PEG tube, catheter or tracheostomy?

Yes, we provide these supports with nursing oversight and trained support workers. Call us to discuss the person's needs and the supports in their NDIS plan.

Who trains the support workers?

Our registered nurse trains and competency-checks each support worker for the specific supports a participant needs, before they work with that person.

Do you work with the participant's GP and specialists?

Yes. We follow the treating team's plans and keep them informed about changes we notice.
